We need your support in distributing Andy Gilman signs

 

Thanks to the support of many of you, our campaign for Andy Gilman is going great.  The first 50 signs we ordered were gone in four days.

 

We have now received 100 more two-sided signs. You have probably seen them on Ojai and Grand avenues and Foothill Road. Now we need more sign placements, especially in neighborhoods. We still have many signs available for highly visible residential and business locations. We are only putting these signs on private property with the permission of owners.

 

We still need to do more.

Andy Gilman has mailed a flyer to each resident. Yet, while we canvass door-to-door, we find that most residents have never heard of Andy. Those who have heard of Andy are supporting him. When we get to talk to a resident, we have a good response. We have found virtually no resident who has heard of his opponent. Thus, name recognition and repetition are critically important to turn out more voters for Andy. Hence, widespread distribution of ANDY yard signs is one of our key campaign tools.So, if you or anyone you know would like an ANDY yard sign for a residence or business location, please contact Club President Jeffrey Starkweather at 919-417-0969 or jeffreystarkweather69@gmail.com, He will arrange to provide you a sign at your convenience.

 

Volunteers still needed for canvassing and tabling

If you would like to put in just a few hours canvassing near your home or any neighborhood, or if you can help with tabling at the Sunday Farmers Market, please contact Jeffrey (see above). We also have distributed almost all the Kamala Harris signs we purchased but will be getting more this week. Stop by the Farmers Market on Sunday to get one or again contact Jeffrey (see above).

 

We also need volunteers to help at our Ojai Democratic Club information booth for Ojai Day on October 19 in Libbey Park. This is an annual downtown street fair that goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All we are asking is for volunteers to work at our Club information booth for one to two hours that day. You can also obtain an Andy Gilman or Harris/Walz sign there. Again, contact Jeffrey.

Thanks to all of you who have joined the club and paid dues or donations to support this campaign.We still have more Harris signs to purchase and are hoping to send out a mailer for Andy Gilman, arriving in the last two weeks of voting because those were the voters who made the difference in the last mayoral election.Any additional campaign donations you could make now will certainly make a difference in this election season.
