CHARTER UPDATE: On June 23, 2026, the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee ("VCDCC") voted to deny our recharter. OVDC disputes that denial and has an Appeal pending before the Compliance Review Commission (filed July 13, 2026; hearing set for August 25, 2026), on the grounds that the denial was procedurally defective and inconsistent with VCDCC's and the CDP's published chartering standards.

We're continuing to meet, organize, review bylaws and look at options. We're operating as an independent political organization, and not accepting contributions or dues at this time until we sort out our bylaws and affiliations.
 

We welcome new members exactly as we have for nearly 20+ years, and we'd love to have you join us. OVDC Membership forms can be picked up at our meetings — dues are currently paused, so you're welcome to join at no cost while we work through this.
