Ventura County Supervisor Matt LaVere will speak at the Sunday, April 30 Ojai Valley Democratic Club meeting, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

LaVere represents District 1, which includes the Ojai Valley, and will be seeking re-election in 2024. He will talk about his first two years in office and touch on issues in the Ojai Valley.

The meeting will be held at Kent Hall, 111 W. Santa Ana St., to the right of Ojai City Hall. Doors open at 3 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public, regardless of political party affiliation.
